Transport
The Bondi Beach House is just 40 minutes from Sydney Airport. You can take a shuttle to our door, jump in a taxi, or take the train and bus. The Eastern Suburbs Airport Shuttle can be contacted on 1300 739 766. For bus and train information go to Transportnsw.info. There is currently only street parking available at The Beach House.
The Beach
We are just 80 metres away from Bondi Beach, just off the main beach shopping street (Campbell Parade.) You can see the water from the sunroom in the Palm View Suite. We are a minute’s walk to The Bondi Trattoria – a great place to eat and look over the beach.
Common Areas
We have lovely front and back sunny terraces for you to enjoy. We also have a beautiful French dining table just off the kitchen for breakfast, and a sofa nearby for reading.
The Kitchen
The kitchen area is available for making breakfasts, as well as tea and coffee throughout the day. There is a communal fridge for guests who don’t have a fridge in their room, and each of these rooms has their own container for food storage in the fridge. Please rinse all items used for breakfasts and place them in the rack or dishwasher. We currently don’t offer the communal kitchen to make lunches and dinners, but you are welcome to bring take away food back to the house to eat at the table or on the terraces.
Rates
All Bondi Beach Rates are inclusive of GST. We currently charge the same for weekends as we do during the week, and offer 10% discount on stays of 5 days or more. The rate will be automatically discounted when you book online.
Website
We have a 2-night minimum stay policy in high seasons, and a ‘1-day in advance’ booking system.
Children
We invite children 12 years and older to accompany their parents at the Beach House. Unfortunately we do not cater for children under 12.
Office Hours
Generally 9 am to 12 midday everyday. The office is just off the kitchen. If we’re not around and you have a question, please call us on 0417 336 444.

Booking Policy
We accept full payment up-front for all bookings, but please refer to our cancellation policy for information about refunds.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations notified more than 14 days prior to arrival day will be entitled to a full refund minus a $60 administration fee. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to arrival day will forfeit all monies paid, however if we are able to re-book your stay to another group at full tariff, we will refund your payment less the administration fee. Cancellations/changes must be made and confirmed by email and then be confirmed by the Bondi Beach House.
Check In/Out Times
Check in is from 2pm and Check out by 10am. We are able to offer earlier check in times if the room is vacant the previous night. We are able to offer late check out times if the room is vacant on the day of your departure.
Storing Your Luggage
You are more than welcome to store your luggage with us upon arrival and departure. There are two locations suitable for this: upstairs just off the dining room and downstairs on the left hand side, opposite Room 1. Please be aware for security reasons that we are not always around the property to look after left luggage, so no responsibility can be taken.
Linen And Towels
All rooms are supplied with fresh linen and towels. Bookings for extended periods will have their linen and towels refreshed on a weekly basis. If you would like linen and towel changes when staying for less than a week just let us know. The cost is $2 per towel and $25 for a complete bed linen change.. Beach Towels are available on request during your stay.
Wireless Internet
Free WIFI i available throughout the beach house. Just come to the office and we’ll give you the password. There is also an internet café within 1 minute walk of the Beach House.
Laundry Facilities
Our washing machine and dryer are located on the upstairs level. It is an honesty system of $5 per load. This includes washing powder. If the weather is sunny we ask that you use the washing line in the back yard. Otherwise you’re welcome to use the dryer for $5 per load.
Smoking
We are a non-smoking house but occasional smoking is permitted in the outdoor areas.
Parking
We only have 3 spots available and are a minimum of $40 per day (from 2pm checkout). If you would like one of these spots please call or email us to reserve them for your stay. Most of Bondi is metered parking only at $5.20 per hour. Please keep in mind it is a very busy congested suburb that is very hard to park in! If you wish not to pay you may find free spots further from the beach which will require a little walking time. We highly recommend leaving your cars at home for a better Bondi experience.
Wheelchair Access
The house is terraced; therefore unfortunately there is no wheelchair access. There are stairs leading up to the Beach House from the street and also indoor stairs. The rooms on the lower level of the house with no further stairs are The Frangipani Suite, The Ivy Room, and The Wombat Room. Please be aware of the stairs for elderly guests.
